Grip-Tec are proud to confirm our sponsorship of the Pen Mill Lionesses for both the 2024/25 and 2025/26 seasons!

The Lionesses, an Under-14s team competing in the Somerset Girls Football League, are part of a thriving girls’ programme at Pen Mill Football Club. The club’s girls’ section supports players from reception age all the way through to 16, giving them the chance to enjoy the game, grow as players, and progress into one of the club’s women’s teams.

At this level, football is about much more than results. It’s about building friendships, growing in confidence, and developing both skills and character. And this incredible group of girls embodies all of that. Whether on the training ground or during matches, they give 110% – showing passion, commitment, and a willingness to learn every step of the way.

This season, their efforts culminated in a fantastic achievement. At the annual Hutton tournament, the team battled their way through to the Plate Final. After a tense match and a dramatic penalty shootout, they emerged victorious – becoming the well-deserved 2025 Plate Winners!

We’ve absolutely loved supporting the girls this season and feel truly honoured to be part of their journey. As they move up to the Under-15s for the 2025/26 season, we’re excited to continue backing their growth, both on and off the pitch.
