"Whilst considering the purchase of a new Mazak VRX i300AWC 5 axis machining centre with 32 pallets, we looked at various options for workholding and one option was purchasing 5th Axis self centering vices through Grip-Tec. After viewing these vices in situ at another company and then getting a sample sent for evaluation from Jason Short of Grip-Tec, we felt that these vices were the best marriage between the machine tool and work holding, that would best suit our production.
